A Poem about the birth of my daughter.
Now and then I felt a little queasy, and maybe just a bit sleepy in the afternoons.
You were making a place for yourself in a special part of my body reserved just for you.
You began to need more room to stretch, and float in our very own pool.
Sometimes I could feel you moving about, wee hands, and tiny feet tapping on my tummy's wall.
I loved you then as I love you now, and waited for you to make your debut.
Your demand for entrance to your new world was urgent, you began to fight, twisting, and turning.
Outside was calm, but the exquisite excitement of your birth caused the room to burst with joy.
All was perfect, how beautiful you were, and still are.
You stole my heart my lovely daughter.

Special Moments
I hardly knew you were there, in the beginning, you were too tiny to make yourself known.
