a child's secrets (triolet challenge)
As a child, I was drawn to the sky
The moon soothed my secrets
The sun exposed me to the harder parts of life
As a child, I was drawn to the sky
I would try to stare at that blistering sun till I thought I was blind
I accepted the tears my mother said were signs of weakness
As a child, I was drawn to the sky
The moon soothed my secrets
