Shackle me

One more destination,
This they always claim.
Shackled to a destiny
Beyond the borders of;
Common earth, common sky.

Heat of the sun,
Lashes our backs.
Sand from the unforgiving,
Lashes our eyes.
Weight from your chains,
Bruises our abilities.
Weight from your power,
Bruises our candor.

Losing freedom,
is losing it all.
I bound to slavery,
This not of the skin.
Familiar pain, familiar shames...

"Shackled to a destiny

Pictures with words and imagination
Born of your mind and innate creation
Delight other minds and souls
While reality makes the picture whole.
Kudos.
