Life is a movie, I chose my movie to be weak by Ann Wood

Life is a movie, I chose my movie to be weak ...
I was also happy
more often sad ..
my life passed like in an old movie,
in places torn-
here and there scratched and stained
mounted roughly from life
then.
The screenwriters are me with my destiny,
the director, too unreliable
every frame weaker and wrong ...
The plot is often repeated,
and the tape is almost to the end.
The spotlight will light up soon,
the screen will turn white
and the hall will be long deserted,
just somewhere between the lines,
there will be someone very bored by the weak and bad material
leaning on the palm-
gently fell asleep ...

Interesting! I really like the use of the 'extended metaphor' -- how you take the idea of 'life as a movie' and extend it till the end. Nicely done, Ann. :)

I got it! No one else can write your script in life but the person seeing the light as they walk or run be it truth or dare where darkness is never feared. Your writing is always in a class of its own and the reader must see through your eyes if they are to enjoy the pictures of your pen. I enjoyed this read because it told a story of someone who was the master over their destination and to rest for another day isn't so bad. Thanks for the great write and until next time stay happy, healthy and blessed. FE
