No One Is
Sinking into a losing sea where no one is fated to winWhy is the world this way
The world is the world is the world
Seems destined to always spin
Weaving circles within circles weaving riches and sin
Poor souls fall to savage fools that feed upon fear
Time makes puzzles of pieces of lost lives
Who makes the rules, who says so
About what and who survives
So much is said
Causing pain such lies
Thrive like weeds in a dark, crazed garden
Where no one walks together, hearts harden
Where an ancient, monstrous worm slithers 'round the brains
Where images of Eden circles into forever night and something drains
To be never seen again
Sinking into a losing sea where no one is fated to win
