This is a follow up to "THE TANGO OF THE MONGOOSE AND THE COBRA"
although not actually as visual it follows along the same lines.
It is too hard,
The more I try to forget
The more I remember
And with a detail beyond
the intricate weaving
of the diamonds upon your back.
Crest fallen you seem
and yet your facade remains austere at best.
You no longer acknowledge me!
You no longer seem to want to be around.
Forgive me for referring to your lowly serpentine
tendencies as just that, low
I am unaware of how venomous i could be at times.
The rose is like a lost trophy
It fell at a time it was most treausred.
Needed at this time most dearly.
Find me once more.
I long for the encounter
Although the first was bitter sweet
The second time around would be better.

Triumph of the Mongoose
