My Varna translated by Ann Wood
MY VARNABeautiful, radiant Varna -
the city of sea dreams!
With a magical and real destiny -
from the seventh century to the present day.
Made of seafoam,
with the breath of lovely mermaids,
in ink immersed color -
on the quay with white-winged gulls.
In a sea rhythm throbbing,
with the pulse of splashing waves,
quiet or drenched in passion -
the heart of the city beats.
Caressed with sea tenderness
from the breeze of a gentle breeze,
or humbled by a violent hurricane -
doused the shore in a salty surprise.
Possessed by sea love
amidst the charm of the golden shores,
a city - both longed for and desired
in the enchantment of the native sea.
Azure in sea clothes
is Varna - fabulously radiant.
I endow her with boundless love:
"I love you, beautiful Varna!"
In a sea rhythm throbbing,
with the pulse of splashing waves,
quiet or drenched in passion -
the heart of the city beats.
Caressed with sea tenderness
from the breeze of a gentle breeze,
or humbled by a violent hurricane -
doused the shore in a salty surprise.
Possessed by sea love
amidst the charm of the golden shores,
a city - both longed for and desired
in the enchantment of the native sea.
Azure in sea clothes
is Varna - fabulously radiant.
I endow her with boundless love:
"I love you, beautiful Varna!"
