Unobtrusive
I want to be unobtrusively yours,
in the place where my head
lies, just where the heart beats
and the heat of us imbues
and love transcends.
I want to be the
motion and the stillness,
the crunch of steps
in winter chill and
the splash of sun
on a windswept day.
Unobtrusive I will slip
be the smile on a lip,
the dream in the eye
and the sigh
that escapes
just after
the final kiss.
