She's still here

She still loves me she remembers,
Today was a good day.
Sometimes I look in her eyes.
But she's not there.
It isn't very fair. I know
She's in there somewhere,
We have been together
Since we met years ago.
Waking up she remembers
To sort out her jewelry box.
She's still with us,
It's the silly things that hurt,
Leaving her with our family,
When I have to go out all day.
Getting back realising,
She's been waiting since
Breakfast. For me to bring
Her a cup of tea.
Waiting for her to fall asleep,
She wakes up remembering;
She has to sort out her jewelry box.

This runs the spectrum of emotions and is so real/raw/touching. Wonderful job.
