This is about my amazing sister.

Marine

She's a Marine and in perfect form.
She fought in Iraq and also Desert Storm.
Not just a grunt but a Major of some esteem
I triple dog dare you to join her team!

She married a man both smart and strong
With a body like that of Sylvester Stallone.
She's raised a daughter and two twin boys
Keeps them inline without losing her poise!

Under her dress, strapped to her thigh
She keeps her piece, so no one can spy.
Just shy of sixty, she looks forty five
I'm telling the truth, this aint no jive!

this is why, when I see a soldier walk by
I shake their hand and thank them for their time.
So here's to you oh sister of mine
An ode of love, from Lacy Devine
