To the tune of the hymn "Immortal, invisible, God only wise."
Reusable, Recyclable
Reusable, recyclable, this brown paper bag,
Not merely disposable like any old rag,
Don't toss it insouciant in bucket or bin:
Because our environment can't pardon that sin!
Our rough paper satchel, though used once before,
Can surely be re-used, yes, several times more:
Don't discard this item, so basic, so brown,
Unless you want Mother Earth sternly to frown.
Supportable, sustainable, our practices wise
Will help our poor planet survive, I surmise,
Inhabited by human folk of prudent restraint
Reusing, recycling, without a complaint.
