Desert warfare

The Bullet

CRACK! The shiny bullet glistened as it sped across the desert sky.

It cast a shadow on the ground as it flew at momentus speed.

Heard by noone, seen by noone.

THUD!

"Ouch", that was me!

It had had my name on it from the day it left the factory.

Bloody bullet!

Bloody fool!

Bloody sandy grave.

I will lie here to the vultures pick the flesh from my bones.

Sir, I have read your works some of them hold great meaning. I do respect you for what you have been through. It cannot have been easy. My father too was a Veteran who fought the "World war two".

You should be honoured by England for your contributions in the War.

May God be with you
