Rations

Tasteless food from a tin

dented and all gorn bad

lucky us we had some left

no taste it drives me mad



All the fool I am for enlisting

should have waited for my call

for that would surely delay the time

that I fall and give my all.


It all kicked off in 1939

It lasted till '54

Us Brits all had food rationing

till 9 years after the war!

You brits deserve it.
So, lets talk about Ireland and the famine.
There was no famine. All the other foods like fish, meat and vegetables were shipped out of the Irish county under British armed guards ... to England,, while the Irish people starved. Yes. This requires a drum solo I think . ok. now.
