Koi! Koi!! Koi!!!Echoes
Relentless echoes
From the iron hammer
Devoid of manner
Plunge nails into wood
Man, oh! man
In search of dignity
Fading humanity
Disrupt the serenity
Nature’s serenity
Sprouting edifices
Caricature edifices
Defy mermaids, nixies
The grey lake ripples
Ripples on her surface
Like a race
Racing away from man
Amidst the intertwine
Of chaos and calmness
Pelicans and doves
Chattering and singing
A few good souls
Find warm solace
In welcoming embrace
That mother nature
Mercifully, dutifully
Radiates
