I am tired by Ann Wood
I'm tired of empty hopes, from empty people, with empty hearts ..
From narcissistic creatures,
with an ego higher than height.
On this earth, we are all guests,
no one will get away with it
death-
we will go quietly and meekly,
to whom, when the hour struck.
Reconciled,
lonely,
up and down with the same destinies-
slung over one shoulder,
your bones, empty souls ...
What is there to share,
one is the Sun,
one for all is God,
the stars shine equally in the evening,
all with empty pockets, we will leave this - life ..
What prevents us from being with people-people ..
What prevents us from being just good ..
Without malice and envy,
without greed
to no avail
kindness, often not worth the money ..
Will the warm word choke us?
Are we going to break our arm,
stretched in a difficult time?
A good world is created by
well-meaning people,
although, out of "good intentions", he collapses every day.
