In A Wider Worldly Memory

Some ideas & desires fade

with age,

making diaries

& recollections

their habitats,

and later amnesia

This process gives a taste of

- an insight in -

history, prehistory, ancientness,

and the relentlessly wonderful workings

of evolution

and the natural dissolution

of oneself,

never more flying the tip of a mosquito buzz

- but it also happens

that one leaps through a dimensional gateway

through a sudden, satori-like realization,

shedding one's basic outlook on

- and understanding of -

one's position on the ladder of life,

abandoning one way of being

for another,

perhaps with remorse,

but more often with an almost divine sense

of relief,

life having already prepared everything

for one's transformation

...and in this sea of early summer birdsong,

the skeletons glow

in a wider worldly memory

It is truly illuminating, Ingvar. As you know, it strikes a chord with me, but your skill at putting down these thoughts and feelings is far more skilled. Brilliant.
