....A man and a woman are walking.....
Arm in arm. I feel
soon they will stop and face each other.
Next to them is the sea,
blue-green in an endless rush,
dampening their faces.
I watch him kissing her
on her eye lids -
by the pier, gently, softly.
Seagulls shriek.
She moves with his body, his hands
enclosing her shoulder.
I take in your breath
when you kiss me, see the sun
through my closed eye lids
as a hazy red mist.
"I can taste salt on you -"
You say holding me.
You are calm against the rushing waves,
you are still against the flustering wind.
Sun and shadow dabble with our fate.
