using nature for hope


Burnt in october

have you ever seen a tree
in october
that is filled with
the color of sunshine
even in the chilled wind
so bright
even through tears
it makes you stop
breathing
thinking
that maybe
the sun really will
shine again...

PS One suggestion though, the title is a bit misleading, how about "Reborn in October" or "Hope in Autmn"" , or even "Sunshine in Autumn",
You see poem is about hope, but ,'burnt' gives the impression of something finished- 'burnt'...while sunshine, rebirth etc. are symbolic of hope.
Just a suggestion!
