The Child Trembled

the child trembled like a dandelion in a gale
the child trembled like a young soprano's voice
the child trembled like gelatin in an earthquake
the child trembled like the suddenly-spared adulteress
the child trembled like rocks at the Apocalypse
the child trembled like an antic moth
the child trembled like a defendant

Superb description about a child,
Truly great and gives us wisdom,
So, let us treat a child kindly,
How such a delicate thing
Can face war and its atrocities?
Is God having no mercy at all?
Or is there no God at all here?
Nice poem to make us ponder!
