Mother Earth
Green cool flowing patterns of pasturesCan steal from me my thoughts,
Tall, flowering lush green trees
With barks solid
Can steal from me the nightly dark.
Together the free willing mind adventures
To lie down , roll discover
The paradise of blue rimmed fields.
The corn grass green, fresh , farmer yields,
White clouds like pure white steam
And yet cool, pacifying an eye
And does its justice to milky blue delicacies,
Of a horizon ending sky.
Midday old ,with brightness from single sight;
A sun of blazing glow, fiery warmth …so bright.
It blesses the earth
Adorns her beauty
Cherishes her motherhood
And even , when she a child
Bore her warmth,
Poured rain to quench her thirst,
Delighting as a mother should
Over a tender rising daughter
Innocent and pure
And then she bore
Her children mild
As a father smiled
