Moon, Mountain and Tree by Ann Wood

The moon rose over the mountain and lit up the lonely old tree on top of the mountain.
The moon was full and big, shining on the mountain and on the tree a family of larks sang their love song.
The night was clear, and billions of stars had risen in the sky, and the moon was telling them its tale of the mountain and the lonely tree on the top of the mountain.
The skylarks raised their beautiful voices and their song filled the stillness of the night.
The moon had risen over the mountain and a family of larks had taken shelter on the lonely tree and were singing their love song!
