If you can't appreciate the boring

as fun, exciting, inspiring,

you won't reach beyond your lowest standards!

Not a living word will rise,

flowery,

out of your poems;

not a flexing muscle will play

its strength

up and down your legs

You disregard the cross-trainer

as ”fucking boring”,

but I love that machine

as a prime possibility

when weather is fowl,

as I do the Italian Elite roller

on my floor

If you can't be bored

and have fun,

you will never pass

into the endorphin land,

where ideas sing you

into new futures,

where gossip falls away

like foam off a space shuttle

in the once-upon-a-time,

or like water drops

off a lifting whooper swan

A cube of serious fun

soars at the center of a sea

of boredom!

Boredom

is the ground zero of ingenuity

and success

Monotony

is the curator of real art

and merciless wonders

in the minefield of the subconscious!
