Evaluation
I remember evaluating Donald Junkins,
the poet who was my professor in the fall
of 1990. Junkins taught a course called
"Reading Poetry." Brashly, I thought
I knew at least as much as he did, so
I commented, "What strength I have's
mine own," quoting Prospero's epilogue.
Silly young egotist! I had forgotten the
next four words: "Which is most faint"!
