the chest is found but what is in there?
The closer they came to the bottom of the sea,
The darker the water and the sand grew to be.
How are they to discover the pirate's lost chest?
With no light at all, they could only do their best
To fumble and feel around in those eerie fish trenches,
Hoping to find the treasure without getting any pinches,
From monsters, crabs, and unknowable creatures,
All those scary things with unmentionable features,
Are just waiting to grab a hold of a hand that enters
Into their caves, deep caverns, and mud hole centers.
Just as they were about to turn back from their quest
Moray Eel made a very intelligent request.
He asked, "Would you mind if I called my cousin, Eel Lectricy?
She works for the power plant over in Conch Shell City."
Madison and Joey were thinking it through
Then Madison asked Joey, "what do you think we should do?"
Well Joey he said with a smile on his face,
"Do you think that she might be able to light up this place?"
When all was done and agreed by the three
Moray called his cousin Eel Lectricty.
The light surround her and flickered in changing neon colors
Flashing yellow, pink, purple, white, and so many others.
At last they could see the bottom of the ocean's dark floor.
They caught sight of the treasure chest and opened its door!
When they opened the door with the skeleton key,
A map was found inside it you see
But nothing else was there, no treasure at all
Just an empty box into which they did fall.
Moray was scared and never entered inside.
He slithered out without even saying, "goodbye."
Joey went first and Madison did follow.
It felt as though that box had swallowed
Both of them down deep into its throat
Madison yelled, "I think we can float!"
And float they did on through this chest's bottom
Holding on to the map that had suddenly brought them
To this magical, sparkling, spinning place
That had many stars and planets that rotated in space!
will they ever get home?
