Role Reversal

if you were me,
would you do
the things I do?
if I were you,
would I do
the things you do?
I really can't tell

but when I do
the things that I do
you are quick to judge
and the same applies
to me.
this is a call for
understanding

we never really
get to know
the seriousness of issues
until we get to experience
situations first hand.
maybe by putting myself
in your shoes
I shall no longer be
judgemental

now I understand
your situation,
now you understand
my situation
and I hope that
with this role reversal
we can cope with each other
and easily handle issues

Love Knight
This poem symbolizes independency. That no one can do the things you do. That no one knows how hard the small things are but seem to be easy. I give this a perfect 5
