The end of the adventure.
Joey saw Madison drifting away
He hollered at her, "Please come back and stay
With me for this is a fascinating space walk adventure."
She flapped her arms and wiggled her behind
And said, "I cannot control this body of mine."
So Joey reached down and pulled out some of his diving gear
He threw her a life-saver and pulled her up so near
That he was able to grab a hold of her floating fingers
And then he heard a sound that reminded him of the ringers
That stand at Christmas Time in front of the grocery store
Asking for donations to take care of the children who are poor
Madison remarked, "Well what do you know,
There goes Santa riding his sleigh when there's no snow."
What was going on out in the crazy star-filled sky?
The next thing they saw was a Martian fly by.
In his saucer that was shaped like a submarine boat,
Were a mesmerized farmer and two hungry Billy goats.
It seems they'd been caught up in a tornado in Indiana
And were just sitting around eating ice cream and bananas
This Martian was trying to get rid of his passengers;
He had even sent a note by the local planet messengers.
These funny little beings that hopped from planet to planet
Went by the names of Gertrude and Janet.
They were covered with mouths from head to toe
They needed nothing else to complete their mission so
They warbled from hear to there and star to star
Yelling the necessary, important messages from afar.
With tumbling big purple pouty moving lips,
They could do nothing but relay all the latest new tips.
Gertrude and Janet noticed the two extra terrestrials
And were eager to blab the occurrences at the Star Fall Festival.
They had forgotten about the farmer and the two hungry goats
It was about Madison and Joey; they were telling all the folks.
The cousins were simply amazed by this new disaster
But continued on hoping that this adventure would be a bit faster
Because they had a very urgent appointment you see
To return to a pirate his skeleton key.
The two were baffled as to just what to do
When the Martian return and said,
"Is name Hello my Lou."
He spoke to them with a voice that was jerky and jumbled
Joey and Madison just said,
"What was that you mumbled?"
"Name Hello Lou my is," replied
The friendly frantic fellow.
Madison looked and Joey and remarked,
"He's not green. He's yellow!"
Well that did it for Joey because he had enough of this nonsense
He told Madison it was time to get back on their side of the fence.
There was no fence insight in this weird outer-space zoo
They became worried and wonder if they may be sick with the flu.
They remembered the map and opened it up
And found the answer to this nonsensical mix-up
Floated they did in the direction of the North Star
And waited there for the next taxi-car
But it wasn't a taxi that came by their way
It was a beeping, black, mass that tilted and swayed
They became passengers on a falling satellite in space
That past them going at a turtle's very slow pace.
It was lucky for them that they were there when they were
Because that satellite had been spinning for a thirty year tour
Around the world it was picking up the conversations
From the people on earth from there cell phone stations.
As they rode this big boy back down into the atmosphere
There was only was voice that they could clearly hear.
It was their Nana calling their names,
"Madison, Joey
Wake up,
You fell asleep
While I was telling you a story
About two cousins
Going down deep
In the bottomless sea
To find the pirate's treasure
And bring it make for me."
"Did you find it?" she asked with a silly grin on her face.
They had always suspected
That their Nana came from Outer-Space!
The End.
