Writing

i could go
and rest now
may be drift comfortably
in sleep
to a wonderland
and dream,
for my poems
have been read
now.

Writing is untiring
and demanding
an act of letting go
and yet
holding on.

And it continues.

Such a strong evocation of the poetic process Sona. And I thought the way you contrast the art of writing puts it perfectly.

Bravo!

Writing really is an act of letting go AND holding on. You've said so well.

I agree with you Sona it's very important
To know that your writings inflame,
The imagination of the reader.
Thanks for sharing your poems.

i read that introverts find it calming to write, or to dive into any creative endeavor. It helps defray the constant input of whatever is going on around you.

"Writing is untiring
and demanding"

~amen, i might add: rewarding~
