Angry with the boy who ghosted me and the machine that recommended him

Rage against the machine

If you were a fly on the wall,
you'd wonder if I believe in Karma
or if the world is just as cruel as a swatter.

If you were a couch,
you'd wonder
if I had abandonment issues
or am I just that loyal?

If you were an ice cream machine,
you'd wonder
why I bit the tip of the cone first.

And if you were Caesar salad,
you'd think I champ too loud.

But you're you
and you can't be bothered
to get to know me.

So I'll sit here on the couch,
raging against the fly, the salad
and the machine.
