Jottings from Dunkin'
the urgency
to cultivate
what feeds the soul
*
cool blue gloom
as day breaks
over Arlington
*
cage anarchy
within a frame
of beat & breath & pause
*
will clouds prevail
this winter day
or skies be blinding white
*
slumped in a bench
the form of a friend
whom I don't recognise
*
O the human-
ising contact
of the coffee-shop!
