God to me is but a mode of expression;

a marker in texts,

an excuse for all kinds of cruelty

and dangerous superstition

I don't understand why some folks defend the concept

of god,

even though it should be obvious,

that if a god existed,

it would either be utterly powerless

or a psychopath,

so in any case no one you'd need at all;

in the first case a laughable fool;

in the other an entity to be fought

with all means

- but it seems most people have a need

to be Stockholm syndromized,

glorifying evil and lousy conditions,

taking to it with god-houses

and special places in the calendar
