No ordinary touch

this was no ordinary touch
something about it
made me take notice
was it her soothing tenderness?
maybe her charming personality?

suddenly I was drawn to her
she occupied
every single space in my head
emotion overcame logic
I had to tell her how she makes me feel

I was scared
not sure if she felt the same
so imagine my surprise
when she kissed me on the lips
and said, " honey...I feel the same!"

this was no ordinary touch
and it lingers on
evoking sweet memories
she makes me feel like a king
and every day she will be my queen
