Life Forever
Life forever ending and beginning
Sometimes tortured beauty lives
And dies to be reborn
As an awful bondage to
Horrible idols clustering
Horrible hollow shadows gathering
Fields of pearls turned to moonlit bone
Brooding silent sighs sweeping sunless seas,
Where precious dream worlds spin
Always slanting and spiraling
Into forgotten rays of thought now lost
Ending and beginning
Life forever.
