how to say the unsaid
How to receive what is coming your way
how to write about what is yet to be felt

Subtle

How to start
writing about us
let me just begin with
you
That steadiness in your voice
is enough for me
to start stringing
my words around it
and they flow out and about
tumbling to twine
with it.
My ears don't register
any words coming my way
Just that voice touches
my being like a steady waterfall
dripping me wet.

The details really make the poem. I love how these finely detailed images flow together to that wonderful end
