Lullaby

i must write one
each night
before i go to sleep
about how
you have circulated in my body
the entire day

And where are you
exactly resting-
in my heart
or
on my mind

It has been some
journey for you
to make me sit up
and make notes out of
your heart beats
and write them down
as poems.
