A DAY OUT IN THE PARK BY ANN WOOD
Picnic in the park!Today we had a picnic in the park.
The weather was nice and the park was full of people and children.
The air smelled of barbecue and music played in the distance.
Children were playing and their voices filled the air.
The park had merry-go-rounds, bumper cars and other amusements.
A man was selling cotton candy, lollipops and popcorn and bottled lemonade.
A pair of clowns entertained the children with various tricks.
People were having fun and enjoying the good weather and the barbecue.
The picnic was very nice and we were all happy.
