Two children by Ann Wood
Two children playing barefoot in the raincarefree, cheerful, free
and the air smells of grass
fresh and freshly cut.
Two children chase each other barefoot - outside
and the rain, rhythmically welcomed them-
targets are wet
but they are now so busy playing
their laughter does not stop even for a moment.
They don't think like us about thousands of things-
live today
they live for a moment..
And happiness is written on their faces,
I see, bare feet
galloping across the grass,
tiny raindrops glisten in the children's hair...
In fact, we are losing this freedom,
when we become addicted to our problems,
then we stop and play in the rain
because we are becoming - serious, boring and big.
I don't want to lose this rhythm
of the barefooted, disheartened child,
I want to live in him and him in me until my heart stops beating. Two
