ENDLESSLY
She grabbed his arm
As if to Steady
But in fact it was
A different safety
She was after.
There was no deceit
She did love him
But she knew him
Through and through.
The one thing certain
Was, he'd keep her
In a fine style,
But he would dally
Around fair maidens
Endlessly.
