two as one

 

in the bed   sure

but more   a couple on the dance floor

or between 

the duet making the music   an intimacy of notes

 

or   less intimate

the conversation with the uber driver

or   the simple exchange

with the checkout worker   a smile returned in kind

 

a happenstance encounter

at the bookstore

when two browsers reach for the same book

 

it happens everyday  

or could

given a degree of willingness
