We still act like children

Once upon a time...

We where playing as children do

you turned the popgun against me

Now you work in a pop-shop

I go to pop concerts

But what is the skill in the moment

because we do act like stubborn children

And the days are burning in my eyes

and from my eyes I cry blood

But its just a fake and the real tears . . .

don't stop, the flood is a fact!

Then we reach out our hands

and hug each other

After that we go to the concert

We both love Pink Floyd

and the concert unite us again

And we are laughing

- Just like children

and the moment is shimmering

just like two good childhood friends

This is so telling how the simllicity of our childhood can turn eventually to all the complexity of adulthood leaving childhood friendships parted until, there is found again, common ground. Those who are fortunate enough to be blessed by this are truly given another chance to rekindle a precious friendship. wonderful poem. kathy
