Eventide
In the rain at eventide
Wearing a cape of wry regrets
Someone conveniently forgets
About escape from the weather
A front of storms without a break
Something deforms a lightning streak
Burning time somewhere inside
Tried to tied a knot or whether
Where words were read again as read
Written instead a case of plead
Some insignificant secrets
Pooled like moonlight in your eyes
Danced with shadows on the side
In the rain at eventide
