to be a figment   of one's imagination

is to be within a dream state

which is no less real than the conscious state

neither have destiny in hand

only one moment   then another moment

and so on through life

conscious or in the dream state

until there are no more moments

and those conscious fade away 

and those in the dream state fade away

with the waking and the passing on   know

there is only this moment

to exist in the dream state 

is to exist truly   and be deemed precious
