THANKS FOR READING
I'm often heartened by,How many read my postings.
Sometimes I wonder why,
I've never had a roasting.
Still I thank all the silent readers,
Who like to share my dreams.
Of places I've only ever seen,
In the confines of my mind.
I don't consider myself a writer,
But it seems other people do.
How many read each week,
I was happy with a few.
Yet when I reached sixty reader's a week,
I thought I'd reached my zenith my peek.
I'm totally dumbfounded it's hard to believe,
How many reader's out there I've reached.
So on behalf of all poet's out there,
There's something I know is true.
You reader's are our unsung heroes,
For reading our prose and poetry,
I'd to give a hearty thanks to you.
