CATCH THE WIND (part of my poet tree saga)
Wish I could catch the wind,To ride the clouds above.
To travel round the world,
On the wings of a turtle-dove.
To catch a falling star,
While lassoing the sun.
To converse with the man in the moon,
Are a few things I'd wished I'd done.
To ride upon a broomstick,
Upon the witching hour.
To catch a passing moonbeam,
As it begins to flower.
Many moons have past to quick i think,
Since i"d travelled through the poet tree.
To stare into the eyes of god,
Just to watch him blink.
I feel I've stayed to long this time,
On this world in a Parallel universe.
Time to slip through the poet tree,
To a bright new world for me to see.
