Another thought raised from the text of Alarian's "Transable". Whimsical on my part, observant on his.
But write poems in just the one
Would my verse sound the same
After its translation has begun?
Could my rhymes make any sense
If another language was spoken
Words coupled together in poetic verse
Somehow the association is broken
Lost in translation or just not suited
Different people have their own point of view
Poetry may be the art of the soul
But our differences are nothing new
So write your words as your mind dictates
Think not your language bars another's thought
To all who read there is meaning to find
In their own tongue, perhaps maybe not
