Five Letter Word

A Five letter word
deserves
a fine burial
in a symmetry
located outside
the coordinates
of my mind map.

What happened is
that five letter word
got down that path
and into the pit
with the perfect plan
to take me down in it.
And all that is left for me to do
is- not get going down that path
but to turn away now
and just run.

That five letter word
is basically no one
to me or for me but just
a figment of me,
which i now
propose to shed.

Not let go but just
drop.
