of thunder and fire
if we stretched out rumpled sheets
sunlight opalescent shades shape
there on an open square
each step without a care
a wan smile through thundrin' pain
unrolls each flash, a stumblin' stain
moonlight polishes over every scrape
if we had struck out in utter defeat
