Send me a signal, a rocket, some clangor, to indicate
How much I mean to you. I trudge back and forth
Between here and my workplace, all by myself, never
Sure that somebody like you, or another, a movie star,
Maybe, would see something deep and compelling
Within me, would ferry me with her to heaven on earth
In my eyes (which, in fact, might be someplace with
Heat). Could you stick out your neck, and let me know
You want me? If not, I will simply continue my trudging,
Dreaming, as I skirt the iced-over puddles, of warmth
And a visible sign of affection. I'm sure that a rocket
Would do.

You ARE loved, Lawrence, albeit in a brotherly way. No consolation, I know, if you feel unloved romantically. May the clouds clear and the sun shine soon. Blessings, Allen

"The person seems so disoriented, almost childlike in their vulnerability, but I can see why they might feel this way. I won't condemn him."
