MOTHERS ADVICE BY ANN WOOD
When the cold weather comes, my child, put your bread on the table! There's nothing better than that!
With a little bit of butter, a leek, a head of old onion, garlic, a jar of your grandmother's chutney, maybe a little bit of breadcrumbs, if you've had enough of it...
That's enough for you!
Oh, wait! And some wine! Who else will warm your blood and make it warm?
Eat, drink, warm yourself!
You'll get your vitamins!
These are tough times! You don't need much!
In these tough times, it won't do you any good to be modern!
A piece of bacon will do more for you than any famous salami.
When your heart warms up, warm blood will also run through your head!
Then some good thoughts will come to your brain. You'll do wonders!
With a little wine and a piece of bread, you're ready!
Simple!
No one has ever made a mistake by living simply, child!
He has won, health and love!
No one has ever lost, if he has lived according to his means. If you expand beyond it, you are in debt!
And then go and get well!
It is cold, child!
The world has become cold!
A piece of bread... that's it!
