Held Back by Their Delusions

Paupers do not see themselves in mirrors.
They see millionaires, and, thus, they vote
To lower taxes none of them has ever paid
And cut the funds for programs which have
Been of benefit for them. They haven't
Any use for unions, thinking that their dues
Aren't likely to help them gain anything.
Because they cannot see themselves,
These paupers never move ahead. Their
Efforts only bring more riches to real
Millionaires.
