Lesson 60
The moon has hid herself tonightbehind the clouds. She is so shy.
We miss her light. Man to maggot
looks up and sighs at her shyness.
Sometimes she seems almost to peek,
but hides again behind the tuft
of clouds that she has made her bed.
The night goes from dark to darker.
Midnight turns it darkest. Just then,
the moon like a gracious lover
willing to let go of past strifes
comes out- illuminates the night.
